Better, but still wrong. Pearla, if you guess the word and are wrong, you are hung! But I wouldn't let that happen. So I'm giving you one torso for two wrong letters. :silly:

Now you know I won't hang someone without fingers and toes, belly buttons, etc.--whatever it takes. :lol9: So I'm going to pretend you didn't try to guess the whole 3 letters again, give you a pass, and add one leg for all three letters. See what a nice guy I am? :biggrin: (And what is CWM anyway?)

I looked at some lists os 3 letters words without a vowel. Except for that two I have already tried, nothing else fits. So either I am missing something or there is a vowel in your word - you never said there wasn't :silly: I am going to try I and que sera, sera...

An I for Pearla. Unfortunately, it's in the reject list. Remember, not everything here has to be a word. But before you start thinking numbers, there are no numbers in this. Look at the bright side--there are only 12 more wrong letters! :zyup:

I have given up. As it is we have been hung many times over...You might as well reveal the word, or whatever it is, and I quote: "Remember, not everything here has to be a word."

I'll give it a short bit of time to see if Bolaf wants to re-engage. If no word from him, I will consider you all hung out to dry. :frown: Maybe Hel will even drop by. You never know when a miraculous event will save the day! Just like in a cheesy novel. :biggrin:

While we wait, here's another hint. It's just an abbreviation that's common on any road map (or highway sign). But you won't normally see it used in the U.S.

- Is it abbreviation like this: HWY? RTE? I could not find any that do not have letters that were discarded...
- Clear it up for me please: If I go to Geermany and buy a road map I will see those "words" on the map. When I buy one for Minnesota, It will not see it on the map...
