I think, it could be "Mezzanine". I got the definition only in german, so there's a link to a dictionary in english. ;)

Nobo got it! It is 'mezzanine'. It is funny how quickly you got it...
BTW, I got the idea for the word from Vivi's last WITW. Look at the picture and you will see a mezzanine...
