Actually, the German for beautiful is schön, like her name ;).

The Dutch word "schoon", same root of course, is normally only used with the meaning "clean", though you can still find it in e.g. fairy tales ("een schone jonkvrouw", a beautiful damsel)
On the other hand, "schoonheid" is probably used as much, if not more often, with the meaning "beauty" than "cleanliness".
The common word for beautiful is "mooi".

I enjoy the music in the background. Do you realize that "Bei mir bist du schön" is Yiddish?

Yes, that's how they could make schön/shein rhyme with "please let me explain" :)
(I used to think they sang "bei mir bist du shame"...)
