To be honest, I never thought this word would make it past the first or second round of questions :biggrin:! But since we are at letter 6 already, it seems to be a bit harder than that.
So, maybe I should back up a few posts and say that yes, some sort of myth is involved - but on the other hand, that might just send you in the wrong direction as well....

Looks as if not even my hints have brought you any closer to the solution...or will in the foreseeable future...

It was a word about which there is a made up story that it was made up as part of a bet ;)
