Finished with XXV including fake as well, wasn't too bad actually :smile:

Still don't know how the last letter came to be, but I just guessed that one.

The symbol on XXVI is remotely familiar, even though I can't tell from where right now...

Had some sleep and looking again at XX.
Spoiler:
Saw the hint about "the device in my pocket" and something funny about the numbers -

Mostly wondering - is it the numbers or the odd bits with them that I should concentrate on? Or some combination of all of it?

It's a combination of both.

the device in your pocket is the way to go. use the number, then apply the odd bit to that number
