Now, though, I'm embarrassed to admit that I still can't come up with the answer. :doubt:

I've decoded the clue. But I've tried seemingly every possibility for the answer, and I get nowhere. Maybe I typed something wrong, but I really hope I don't have to go through the whole list again.
