I might be over thinking 62, but does anyone remember the name of the roman who made the the first slot machine that seemed to magically dispense holy water? He also made automatic doors on a temple and other machines that appeared to be magic.

argh....the rubik's cube one (#32) is driving me crazy!!! i saw the hint in this thread that

but i have no idea how to go about solving this. it doesn't work to do

...nor does it work to use the actual number of solutions for a 3x3x3 rubik's cube (as given in wikipedia and other sources) and multiply that by the number of colors.

any hints appreciated!

edit: agh...never mind! i finally figured out what this is really looking for...hadn't realized that

Assume that there are 27 small cubes making the large cube. All of these small cubes can also make cubes.
