From that clue, I thought it was astronaut or cosmonaut, and neither work (they're also both 9 letters). Maybe if I knew what it meant by 'something I study'.

Now I'm on 128. I used to enjoy these word games, but after the last couple, I'm beginning to hate them. I got the river, and I think I got one of the animals, but that's about it.
