HANG ON - I have been to 10 , 11 and 12 and solved the sum but it took me to room 101.. what's wrong here????

room 11 is after the one with the eleven letter word with the mineral...
Don't know how to spoiler but M**he**ic* is what i put and it took me to 11.. I have the three bits of paper but the sum takes me somewhere else which goes round in circles...

Then I got the date right.. the date at the time of his birth.. I found the date and put it in the required format...took me to room 159
