Not the Future I found this riddle on reddit, it has a quite interesting atmosphere compared to the usual riddle and it has some reoccuring themes such as war and human primates
The creator made it because he thought that riddles like Notpron were too hard.

I am stuck way behind I guess, can someone please tell me the order the sliders should be in for the hand pointing up puzzle to move the cabinet? I looked in the library for clues but just don't get it.
the heart puzzel....3671452 and the heart tile...doesn t do anything.....is it the same for everyone? I ve done it over and over... clockwise...starting from the tile next to the heart...?????? don tunderstand what s wrong....read all threads did everything still nothing....

It's different depending
on the moon phase you see when you look up llike the finger sez
then use the machine over the pool on 3F to find the moon phase. You need to have translated the numbers 0-9 into the symbols. and there you have your solution for the sliders

The heart tile is like the enter key, hit it when you're done.
The scope is at the correct picture, but I get the wrong ending! I have the black sword w/ ring, the blue sword, and the left-over pic of the dead dragon...what dod I do????
Oops, nevermind. I was just pushing the wrong buttong in the conversation. ^_^*

Try combining these lines to make 2 symbols-one above the line, one below. Then click the box until these symbols appear. Box will automatically unlock once the correct symbols are entered. Then click lid to open and take item.
The item should be used in this room.
Drag item to round opening above shelf with lines. Then click handle.
Exit room through door in far wall.
3F NORTHWEST:
Not much to see in here. Exit room.
3F NORTH:
Explore room.
Notice that there is an empty frame next to the door you came in through.
Exit room through door at right.
3F CENTER:
Explore room.
As far as this game goes, this is actually a pretty easy one.
Are you sure you explored the room. Really really explored it.
If you didn't find a piece of paper on the floor, you probably should.
Make the puzzle look like the paper.
Something happened. Look down over the balcony. Maybe the something that happened, happened down there?
Exit room.
3F NORTH:
Go through the door on your right.
3F EAST/3F SOUTHEAST:
Explore room.
Make sure to "read" everything.
Picture of a sword in a rock.
Picture of a woman laying on a rock.
A key.
Exit room through door at southeast end.
3F SOUTH:
Explore room.
The door opposite is locked.
Have you got a key?
No, on the one in your inventory from 3f EAST. Look around.
The key for this door is to the left of the door. It's a little gold dot on the floor below the stairs.
You can open the door and see that it leads back into the elevator room (3F SOUTHWEST), but you don't want to go that way just now.
Instead, go up the spiral staircase.
4F SOUTH:
Explore room.
Play around with it a little bit.
Ok, I admit it. I don't know the logic behind this one. Basically, I just played around with it a little and it opened. I think you need to get all 4 buttons lit.
Click the black bar thing to turn it. That's it.
Exit room through door.
4F EAST/NORTHEAST:
Explore room. And explore it carefully too, there's important stuff in here!
I hate this puzzle.
Well, first of all, you need to figure out what you're supposed to be doing. It has a sun and a moon and numbers. So, the sun corresponds to a certain number and the moon to a different number.
But which numbers? Look for something in the room to help you.
The picture next to the sun and moon door and the table directly to the right of the door you came in tell you everything you need to know. As in, it tells you what numbers the sun and moon correspond to.
Sun=3 and Moon=5
Ok, the real trick is to get both symbols to point to their respective numbers at the same time. Tricky.
I take no credit for this part. It was all LunaHoshino, in post #408. Press the moon once, the sun 4 times, the moon 3 times, the sun 2 times, and the moon 3 times.
If you solved the puzzle correctly, the sun and moon door should "unlock" automatically. Exit the room through this door.
4F NORTH:
Explore room.
You can take the sword, but that's not the only thing in here.
There's also a piece of paper on the underside of the table. The paper has a code on it. Write it down. It changes for every game.
Exit room.
4F EAST:
Climb the ladder.
ROOF CENTER:
Exit through door.
Explore.
After you're done looking at things, it's time to go down. Go back down the ladder, down the spiral staircase, through the door on your left, get in the elevator, and press the button for the 2nd floor.
It's a good game. Very nice graphics. It reminds me alot of Riven. The sounds and all...the idea is kind of similar. Well, anyways...better have a fast connection if you wanna play, because each room has to download.
The symbols: (these are only the numbers. refer to searches for the rest. Aurora's posts kick ass)
dark = 1
mountain = 2
fire = 3
wind = 4
tower = 5
angel = 6
water = 7
The caligraphs (for lack of a better word):
heart = 0 (you should have seen in the tea room)
ear (weird ? thing) = 1
star = 2 (you should have seen in the tea room)
moon = 3 (you should have seen in the tea room)
X = 4
flower = 5
t = 6 (vertical cross)
octogon = 7
diamond = 8
E (backwards 3) = 9
On the octogon puzzle, or the heart puzzle:
There are multitudes of clues that you should have seen, but somehow didn't (partly because of that japanese thing - see post 406 for that)
Figuring that the heart is 0 (zero), clockwise, the solution is: 4 3 7 2 5 6 1
A small set of bell locations:
Bell in 2FE
Bell in BNW2 (last trasnporter spot)
Bell in 2FSW
Bell in 2FW
Bell in 2FS
Bell in 2FN
