Not the Future I found this riddle on reddit, it has a quite interesting atmosphere compared to the usual riddle and it has some reoccuring themes such as war and human primates
The creator made it because he thought that riddles like Notpron were too hard.

Continuum Hey, has anyone tried this one? CONTINUUM
This bit is tricky if you don't understand japanese.
Step 1: save your game - not over your previous savegame!
Step 2: will she still talk to you?
If not you have to go back to your previous savegame.
There is something that you have to have before you can get the information you want from her.
Knowledge pages 27-29
She is going to give me a numeric clue that I've read plenty about in this thread, however if you need
Knowledge pages 27-29
How am I going to get this without her clue?
I have all pages save 26-29, I presume that there is a code that I am missing that will let me get to Basement NE (part 2) and that the clue she will give me (someday, she's starting to remind me of my ex-wife) is a third.
Can someone give me a clue on the second? Am I missing something that I should be understanding?
Beaker of liquid from shelf. After getting this item you can
take one of the bottles from the basement. That said, it's currently unclear which one of the three you're supposed to take.
Does anything about this arrangement of circles seem familiar to you?
It's the same as the wall design from the room you teleported to after completing the circular 12 button puzzle. If you didn't draw those symbols, go do so now. You'll need them.
The real key to solving this is the 5-digit number combination at the bottom.
It might help you to know that the number code and the arrangement of the clocks on the door were both found in an earlier hint.
Remember the 5 goblets in the basement? Yeah.
20131.
To solve this, you must first solve the tree picture puzzle. If you haven't done that, do so now.
As I already said, the tree picture and the clocks are linked. Solving the tree picture gives you the position to put the clocks in. Here's where it gets real tricky. There's a lot of matching involed.
From the tree puzzle, you should be able to match up a time with a symbol from the wall in room 2F NORTHEAST (you teleported there earlier). Now look at the clocks themselves. You can match up those with the 5 different-colored goblets from the basement. Now all you have to do it decide which symbol matches with witch color. Got it?
This is another part where reading knowledge of Japanese would probably come in handy. They way I did it, however, was by (well, getting help from posts #118 and #125) and thinking about what each symbol sort of looked like and what color it could be. To start you off, one looks like fire, which would be red...
From Left to Right - 2, 10, 4, 9, 7
At this point, the door should be unbarred. Go through this door.[/SPOILER]
I am totally stuck here! I can't get the clock tree ... it's all in green colors and I can't move any of them
AURORA, I've tried all the girl-talk hints in this forum, including 313. Still no arabic numerals from her. That's why I gave up days ago. But I still try every now and then. Thanks for trying to help though.
That is really odd... Just checking, you realise by arabic numerals I mean 0, 1, 2, 3... 9? The numerals europeans are familiar with. The screen with the answer should look like the screen shot below. Look for the H-like symbols in what you get. It's possible that you've just been really unlucky and got 1 or 11 as your number and couldn't pick it. (If it's too hard to see, try right clicking and using "open link" or "view picture".)

Hi Dazed, The code you are looking for is
in 4F N. The room where you picked up the sword.
Try to zoom in on the table.

Oceangirl, don't worry about the tree, just click on the little panel of five squares at the bottom of the picture. This is where you enter in the code.
sorry read almost all threads...still do not understand the 3f west puzzle....the moon phase....anyone care to help???? pls
This isn't so much a puzzle by itself, as it is an indicator to complete another puzzle. The moon phase lines up to show what 3 numbers to enter. Determine the number by finding out what numbers correspond to the symbols.
yes, I did but nothing happen...I might give up grrrrrrrrrrrrrr I don't get it
and what about this (picture) at 1F north room???
Ok, so you're already half way through the puzzle. All you need to do now is set the times on the clocks next to the door with the hairpin across correctly. The easy way is just to use the order given by geschmacksache in the last line of the walkthrough. If you want to solve it for yourself:
First you need to work out the symbol that belongs to each "time" by comparing the positions of the times on the clock tree and the symbols on the tree in 2F NE. Next you need to associate the colours of each of the goblets in the basement with one of the symbols. This is tricky but post 406 can help you with it. So now, the order of the colours of the goblets gives you the order of the symbols, gives you the order of the times. So you need to set the clocks in this order. Tricky to explain. Does this make sense?
Oh, and don't worry about the other puzzle yet. It will be quite a while till you get the information you need to solve it.
