Not the Future I found this riddle on reddit, it has a quite interesting atmosphere compared to the usual riddle and it has some reoccuring themes such as war and human primates
The creator made it because he thought that riddles like Notpron were too hard.

Continuum Hey, has anyone tried this one? CONTINUUM
I had to give up in the green room with the sun/moon thing. I am disappointed, but this game is what finally made me sign up to Nordinho after a very long time lurking, so something good came out of it, anyway.
I've already got the bells downstairs ordered according to tone although I'm not totally certain where white goes. I could see this type of puzzle coming up so I worked on that earlier.
I *think* I have worked out which order the tones come in in the tune. So theoretically I know what order the rings should go in but it isn't working yet.
I suspect the rings LunarX is talking about are different. Ie. we sort out these rings, get a key, somehow get a sword then use the rings from downstairs on the sword. Just from what he said.
However, I haven't had any luck putting the phrase he gave us in downstairs. Even tried replacing the dots with spaces. He did say that we wanted to have all the knowledge before we did it. I'm still missing 44.
So you are better in listening than I am.
But I now try to get
First I tried to replace equation marks with a sign familiar, but belonging to japanse - the last equation in the text. But with no success.
Now I try to figure out from which book is it at all. As for now I've found one similar phrase (but not the same), I remember that I've seen more. So I look for them. Maybe it's not the right text. Maybe it changes.
may be i'm wrong by calling it green, it's 3F WEST, with basin and sun-moon agregate in the center - by solving clock puzzle
Cool. Don't worry about all the comments about the sun-moon puzzle in the green room yet. That comes later. Just work out where the handle goes.

Thanks to all the helpers!
Never give up! :P
So what do you think the solution is?

the library is another door in this room with clocks? but it's closed, can't open it..... can't imagine where to apply this handle from a box
Well, we call "the green room" some other room
Library is on 2F, but if I remember, you should get the key to it before you get up the elevator. Or maybe not.
have you looked behind the door on the other side of the room with water (and the moon machine)? Try to combine what is to be done there. The answer is right around you

Oh ugh. That sounds like even less fun than playing with the bells! It took me a long, long time and a lot of backwards and forwards. I think I'll keep working up here.
twice, I got the moon to 1 and the sun to 3 (dark side moon and light side sun) but nothing happened. I left, I clicked reset (and cussed something awful) I tried, tried and tried again.

Nah, I'm pretty sure he's not up to it yet.

Thanks so much for all your help though
You haven't got the moon quite right yet. Think about it in the same way as the sun.
How many "things" around it?
