we are swimming in it- a half meter in the last 36 hours-i'm flying on sunday and am worried that it won't go,

what sort of price are laptops there? i want one to use at home, so i don't have to drag this thing around!

Well the one we are looking at is £219 (don't know how much that is where you are) which is very cheap, but it is one that she can use when she's at Uni. They can be a bit more expensive depending on what you're looking for.

I have 3 Daughters, The eldest is 18 and I have 2 litle one's of 5 and 3 an a half. :)

gosh- such an age gap- hard work!!
219 is cheap compared to here- maybe i'll find something in glasgow-how exciting to have a daughter going to uni-thats where i'm going on sunday-just for the week- i'm learning at a distance-for the fourth year now-i miss the contact that your daughter will have when she starts.

i have 4 grandchildren and as expected incredibly proud of them!!

Yes it is a big age gap, second marriage. They are a real handful but cute too.

What are you studying?
We went to look around the Uni last month I want to go there myself, especially one of the tutors he had me engrossed I wanted to ask questions on the subject like you do in class but it was just for info only! :doubt:

i'm beginning my doctorate-late in life- but not too late-i work as a lecturer, so this is a development for my job-i feel so privileged to have this opportunity now--if you have questions, maybe you should begin to do something with it- i did-and it works! my grandchildren are like your children so precious that it adds a new dimension to my life.

i am so well- no more work things to think about-looking forward to a relaxing weekend, with lots of snow- how is it in ontario? is it like here with metres of snow?

It's never too late for learning. :)
I was thinking of studying again but how my life is at the moment I am also having to think about other things too. Maybe one day! :)
