Re: Nordinho Pub Part 33 1/3  No, still no car  But I'm not looking for one either - the taxes on it will be much too high and I have no place to park it, let alone the investment costs :silly: Luckely I'm pretty movable as the public transport is perfect, as long as you don't wanna be somewhere in time  So, as 1 May is a free day in Poland does that also mean your kids have the whole week off? I mean, a celebration day in the middle of the week - that is so impractical, they might as well be given the whole week :silly: ;) |
Re: Nordinho Pub Part 33 1/3 hahaha, they have 4 days off, May is beautiful , and the weather is going to be sunny :) some clouds are gone , kids are happy with that  |

Re: Nordinho Pub Part 33 1/3  Sounds like a very good idea Notte :nodder: You know what is delicious on the BBQ? Banana with chocolate and rum  Put it into aluminium-foil and let the chocolate melt... It is delicious :arms: |
Re: Nordinho Pub Part 33 1/3 mmmm.... thanks SF, have to try it  and how about the watermelon on BBQ ? :rotfl: |
Re: Nordinho Pub Part 33 1/3 I never tried it ... I think you shouldn't, it might ruin the taste :doubt: But if there is more than enough watermelon, please try and let me know how it worked out  It does make me curious ;) Ow wait :google: Here I found something that makes it even more attractive to try: Wondering how to grill a watermelon? It couldn't be easier. Simply rub some honey on watermelon slices and place on a hot grill for about 2 minutes per side until marks form and they become caramelized. You could eat it just like that or top it with my tangy honey-lime syrup. It contrasts surprisingly well with the slightly smoky flavor of the grilled watermelon. Sounds like it could be very tasty :arms: And maybe this to go with it: INGREDIENTS * 1 seedless watermelon * 1 1/2 cups rum, or as needed DIRECTIONS 1. Rinse the outer rind of the watermelon thoroughly, and pat dry. Set the watermelon in a position so it will not roll over. Press the tip of a funnel through the rind of the melon. If using a plastic funnel, you may need to cut a hole. 2. Situate the melon on a towel in the bottom of the refrigerator or on the counter. Pour rum into the funnel a little at a time, refilling as it seeps into the melon. I start the afternoon before, since we usually leave to go to events in the morning. Allow the melon to marinate at least a few hours, before removing the funnel. Slice just before serving. |
