This is why I think we textile, sewing, knitting, crocheting, - whatever - fans should start up a thread on those subjects. Think I might, and see if anyone stops by.

What should I call it? :thinking:

I think you might be on to something rb...i would definitely stop in to say hello....but i really, really hate sewing or anything like that...i dont even sew buttons on!!! :lol:

A big granny square (or whatever they're called) blanket. :lol: It was extremely lopsided but fuzzy. :biggrin:

And if that's not bad enough, you should see my attempt at knitting! :rotfl: It was a massive knot of yarn. :bonk:

I learned to knit just last year, finally - I made a scarf, and it just went on, and on, and on . . .

It's about ten feet long! :rotfl:

But the knitting looks pretty good. Just wanted to prove to myself I could.

I can crochet, too - have made half a dozen afghan blankets. I like to do them in the winter, keeps you warm while you work on them :lol9:

Seriously, I think I will open some sort of sewing or craft thread. We need a place to go to talk about such things and not be boring the Pub people, I guess!
