i think when you shoot an animal for food, you have a great respect for what you eat. when i say it tastes of mountain- try to stand in a meadow in the summer and close your eyes. breathe in deeply and taste and smell the grass and the flowers and the effect that the sun has on them. then transfer this to a food- this is what i mean.

I once went turkey hunting.. the cold air, the feel of the gun in my hands, the excitement of seeing a whole flock of turkeys gathered in a huddle together.
I raised my gun, put he turkeys in my sight , and the gun barrels roared as I let loose a double blast with both barrels...

there's a new market opening next week. i'm excited about it. Can't wait to try my hand at fishing in their seafood department

seriously tho. I'm not much of a hunter. I look into those big, dark deer eyes, and know i couldn't have the heart to pull that trigger...
Unless the sucker bit me.. then I'd have to kill him :thumbsup:
