I had an Elk roast with mushrooms last night and I bet they taste close to yours...Whale, never have tasted that but I do like the salmon and all sea food so I climb the podium and say, We are the top of that food chain and watch out when we get hungry :rotfl:

SF I don't shoot animals but it is fun to target shoot and it is a thrill to hit your mark and you can feel the power. I had a Grandfather that thought we should know all about weapons so I could take care of myself in the wild :whistling

whale is nice- tastes:cool: like lean beef and is good with anything you would make for steak. we also eat elk-it's not as gamey as reindeer, and needs careful handling as it doesn't have a lot of fat. i like reindeer best- they eat heather and moss and wild plants, so the meat tastes like norwegian mountains.

and yes i shoot the animals myself in the autumn.

Thanks Vivi I really always wondered what different things taste like and I have been hunting and I'd rather be the cook when it's all cleaned up. Just my preference, but if something is charging me and it was him or me I'd win :)
