Played baseball tonight and I really stunk up the field today. Boy did I play bad. We got killed today. I feel terrible. I should just get over it but I'm too competitive, it just eats at me. :zrant2:

i agree. you should just get over it. but listen- monopoly is like a contact sport to me. so i completely get what you mean. im uber competitive to :lol: not much new in my world. schools out, summer's here-- always a good thing. im sorry i forget now-- but what time is it where you are again ?

im an hour ahead- its about 3:45 here. feels like 8 pm though. woke up at about 3pm yesterday, which may have something to do with it :lol: i always want to kick myself for waking up late :nod: so hows work going ? last i heard you were in that chase etc i think

Work is a little crazy busy now. That chase happened to me several years ago. If that is the same one I'm thinking of. But I'm not on the streets any more. I do the background for the new recruits now. It's more of an office detail than anything. Which is a nice change for me. They have moved some people that worked in our unit back to the streets and that just put more pressure on the rest of us. Just office politics, but stressful nontheless.

Any plans for your summer off?

oh right- i forgot that that was a few years back. this summer ill be doing the same thing ive done for the past 2 summers- work with my boyfriend. we do landscaping/handy man/ home remodeling type stuff. id ask you what you 're doing for the summer, but i figure you'll be working, no?

Yeah, pretty much so. I didn't know you are into remodeling. I do that on the side as well. I love doing that kind of work. It's good to see a female liking that kind of stuff. What kind of projects do you have lined up for the summer?
