ugh my house is hot again and im making it worse by drinking. anyone have a swamp cooler and how the heck do u make it cooler in 100 degree weather.

hey shan... is it terribly humid in Cali now? I would suggest a dehumidifier if it is... The temp here is creeping back up... it was 90 with about 80% humidity... felt like 97 today...

it is SO humid here right now, labboy! i am on the coast in cali, and we are sweltering! so i can't imagine what it's like inland!

i miss the show too...we have the mike judge collection 1 & 2 now and i am loving them!

right now its 100 degrees with humidity 16% which is low from what its been. high today was 102. but the swamp cooler makes it very humid inside and its 84 in my house which is hot hot hot to me since i had a/c before and kept it at 76 degrees

Well shan, I'd send you my a/c unit but I need it!:lol: Although I'm starting to wonder if my thermmostat is even working properly. It shows a temp of 80 in the house and I have the thermostat set at 78... any lower and the a/c decides to play freeze out...

:lol: I actually think the unit is a bit too big for the house shan... the indoor thermometer we keep in the kitchen says that the house is usually 3 to 4 degrees cooler than the theromostat. I did change the air filter yesterday and that has helped the a/c not kick on as often.

yeah, we're comfortable... but I fight with Lori all the time about the temp because of working in the lab... it is always 70 in here because of the equipment. It's all very temperature sensitive

yeah i know about crankyness and short tempered. my daughter is having one of her bad days. misbehaving left and right and im a nervous wreck and hubby is working tonight so im on my own. no wondered i had a beer. :eek:

Its not really hot... Only like 90s during the day, but the humidity is always over 50% =/ So it feels like you got hit with a wall of water when you go outside =(
