Well nothing with me personally really but it effected my drive in to work this morning. It has been raining steadily here for a number of days and there has been lots of flooding. There was even a small mudslide. A number of the roads were shut down so the commute in was absoultely horrible. It took me more than twice as long than usual to make it to work. It was just a big pain in my butt. :frown:

Thanks, Lucy, I hope so too. :) So far today hasn't been too bad except for the ride in. So hopefully the next two days will go smoothly too.

Yes, that's true Norway. It just wasn't fun to sit in traffic for over 2 hours. But it could have been worse. They had actually shut down one road where people were stuck for over 8 hours! :eek: As for now, I'm not really sure, I haven't heard much more so I think things have pretty much cleared up but if it continues to rain, they may just get worse again. But I'm crossing my fingers that its a better drive home. :)

Yes, I don't like heavy rain! I was once driving home from my sisters house (she lives in the countryside) and the wipers just suddenly gave up on me! It was about 9.30pm...and was very dark - no street lighting on the country lanes I was on! It was really scary! I didn't want to get out of the car, but had to, to try to get the wipers started again!! Heehee! I got out, fiddled around with them and thankfully they started working again!

that would suck Lucy there was one day i was drivin around with my friend and she rigged her wipers with string so we could make them work from the inside of the car it was quite funny

Lucy, I'm definitely with you. And that's would have freaked me out about the windshield wipers! It happened to me once when I first started driving but luckily it was daylight so not quite as bad. I was driving my brother, sister and I to school and they just stopped working. I just kept driving because I could see, if not clearly, and we were almost there. It was still frightening.

Yes, Jess it did freak me out - it was raining really heavily too! I got soaked into the bargain!! I was not happy! Thankfully, it's only happened to me once. It would have been too scary if they hadn't started again!!!

Oh, I bet Lucy!! It definitely would have been bad if they hadn't started working again. You probably would have been stuck where you were because it was too dangerous to drive. I'm glad they started working for you. :)

the day i failed my first drivers test it rained so har that i couldn't see 2 feet in form of my car and i had old windsheild wipers so all they did was smudge the window it was horrible

a couple weeks ago it was rainin really hard well i was at a party and these drunk people wanted to leave so i drove her car and the brakes sucked and the windsheild wipers didnt work and we slid like 20 ft...it was so awesome

todays a nice day here...eventually im gonna take my puppy to the park

That definitely wasn't a great time to have to take your drivers test, smrt! How aweful.

The weather here is continued rain for the next few days at any rate. Luckily I'm heading south on Thursday so I hope the weather will be better down there! :)

:hug4 to all! Yes it is a poo! I went to school in it and came back in it..me in my kilty skirt drenched...that was me when I came home. But at least it isn't as bad as that time when it poured like nobody's business! Four car alarms down my street went off - that's how hard it was raining! :lol:
