See...in the british school,they teach English and Portuguese.In the German school,they teach german,english and portuguese.And in the American school they teach english and portuguese.

Oh okay, so now mather witch school you go to you will learn portuguese and english. :) In Norway you can take optional subject and learn german, frensh or spanish. I even think that in some schools you can learn lapp!!!

Potuguese is the main language in most schools,but in the ones above,the mains are english and german.But in public schools is portuguese and english.They are starting to teach spanish in schools too(public and private).I think that there is a french school here too(i'm not sure).

I guess it is like that you can learn what ever language you want (almost) :)
I have only learn english and of course norwegian. I think i can talk pretty okay english but writhing is more difficulte, i am glad i have my dictionary right by my side:):) :hmmmthumb :BANGHEAD2

I have my dictionary with me too.Sometimes i need help with words i can't translate or that i don't know how to write.

I learned portuguese first,then i learned english.

So did i, i mean first norwegian and when i was around 10 years we started to learn english. I guess the right spelling is not so important here in the pub as long as people understand what you mean:):)

I agree,at least we have to write in a way that makes sense and people can read.And it's hard for us-people who weren't born in countries where english is the main language...

My great grandparents were from England,and it helped a lot...

I have seen some people posting here that they are not good to wright english, they make some strange word sometimes:):)

yeah,some people aren't good in english here...but it's normal.This site is made for people from all the world too...with a good or a bad english..:)

Well, supposedly English is one of the more difficult languages to learn. I personally, while it's the only language I can speak, think its a very poorly developed language. Rules far too often aren't. The sentence structure is different then most other languages. And most of the words are stolen. I've always referred to english as the illegitimate child of Latin, German, and French.
