No, no hourly wage. I do booth rent so I run my own little business from my station, and just pay rent to the owner of the salon to use that station.

So it's almost like having your won styling salon... that's pretty neat. I guess it could be bad for business if you are slow though.

Yeah, I run my own business, but don't have the other headaches that go along with it. Like employees, building and property headaches, things of that sort. But even being slow, I still probably make more money than if I was commission. The only way it would really suck is if no one came in for a week straight. But that pretty much never happens, so it's till not totally bad.

Sort of. I booth rent. I pay a salon owner to use one of her stations to basically run my own business from. I work with other girls, but we all have are own product, our money doesn't get dealt with by each other, we set our own prices. Basically keep it all separate even though we are all there.

I find it amazing when I think back on when I was a kid. The things I find so dumb and stupid now, and how I thought back then what I was arguing about was so important, and felt that screaming at the top of my lungs was worth it.

-if that made any sense. I'm tired and I think it sounded better in my head.

Oh i totaly agree with you:) I was always arguing with my stepdad, and never really liked him befor i become a mum myself, than i understood him much more:) and now he is dead, and i am really sorry for that.
