And no reason in particular, Lucy. Music is just one of my main "hobbies" and lately I've been interested in the Death Metal scene in Norway, Finland, and Sweden and what it brings with it.

I'm not sure why, but it is big in mostly those three countries, mostly finland though. I'm assuming it is just the past of the country has roots of the starts of Death Metal and it expanded to other countries from there and just never left.

Lucy, I live in the southern US. Where we say "ya'll" and eat parts of things that most people throw away.

Nah I'm not huge in Metal but I am interested in it.

I do enjoy some metal but my favorite typed of music is hard rock/nu-metal such as Korn or Marilyn Manson or metalcore such as Atreyu.

There are way too many genres of metal to have it as your "favorite"

Well, there is two places in Norway. One is called "Hell", the other place is calle "Helvete" which is norwegian for "hell"
So thats where the bands get their inspiration :P

We eat turnip greens and catfish pork skins. I say we, I haven't figured out the lure of turnip greens or pork skins yet.

Not all Death Metal bands are Satanic. Look at Cannibal Corpse, even though they are Gore Metal (I hate them, can't stand their music, but thats not the point) one of them is a devout catholic with a catholic family and attends church almost every day.
