Well...When it returned from repairs/maintenance, I thought the repair guy completely messed it up and I spent the whole of last night crying and begging it work properly, all to no avail. I tried starting it again this morning, it still hated me though. I called up the repair shop and scheduled it to be returned then I called up the internet company to set-up my laptop. I started this computer again a while ago, and it WORKED! Normally!!! :rant:

I know I should be happy, but I feel so silly now cuz there will be a techinician coming tomorrow and I already scheduled another "repair"....Stupid computer! :rant:

Whew! That's it....

I think I can cancel the repair but not the technician....Unless the internet company "pranked" me

NPR had a rather interesting prank this morning that made me laugh. It was a "story" on a new product called the ibod. It was a device with which you could control all your bodily functions with a simple dial. Exercise without leaving your chair by increasing your heart rate and respiration, or link up with someone else's ibod for (shall we say) a little recreation. The funniest part was the end where the inventors put rat poison on some cheese and had the reporter eat it after "dialing down" the bad effects. Unfortunately, the battery died right after he ate.
