Oh rachel, I can see the predicament...one side is telling me to tell you he should stay...but the other says he's probably looking forward to the trip and he should go...but then again I don't really know how he's doing in doing in his classes...sorry I couldn't be of more help...

Well.. Its up to him... I would say that it seem that he is making the wrong decision, but its the one that I would make too... So its up to him as far as Im concerned.

Ragdoll- i did point out to him at some point that these exams will only happen once EVER, but weekends and camping will always be there.

Steph- sleep deprived and age dont matter i like all opinions :) and yes he is smart and stuff but he knows that he should study. Plus this test on Monday -- that one will be worth 25% of his entire grade for the semester!

Aight- yes i know he is definitely looking forward to going on this trip :lol: also as for how hes doing in all of his classes-- well he is probably going to get horrible grades on all 3-4 tests so after that the grades probably wont be too great :no:

It kinda sounds like me, my first year of GCSEs I started slipping, but because my grades wern't that bad, I didn't do anything about it, so it continued into my second year. About a week before I started revising, but not as much as I should have done. I came out with great marks apart from one, which I should have done better on. Now, I'm like, right, I have to make up for that, so I will get so many As in A level.

That exam mattered for me, but I was always going to get a good mark, and there was going to be no problems with my getting into college, but if this test does matter, then it's...not good. But I doubt that you will be able to change his mind about it by talking about it. Maybe he can resit. Hopefully.

Conversation moved on a bit - sleepyness makes me a slow typer. Hi...someone who just came in.
