Okay I have to say....

1. Vamp and Slow's site will NOT take away from the fun of doing riddles.

the fun in the riddle is figuring out the CLUES in the riddle and what you NEED to do to GET the answer...not googling for whatever. There are still plenty of other information you have to google for like for example authors and books.

2. Many veteran riddlers ALREADY have a ARMY of urls stashed in their book marks so they DON'T HAVE to google every single boring time to find the decoder. MANY riddles have the SAME basic concept anyway. Pyro's ideas are not new nor unique. Having many tools in the same page/site would cut down on all the bookmarks and trying to remember what the hell the site was called so I could pull up the dang bookmark. Most times I'm too lazy and wind up googling...again...what a boring thing to do. This way..One url....easier to do...I can spend more time on actually working ON the riddle.

Having a place where everything can be in one spot is a HELPFUL tool. Most especially for newer riddlers. Google can be an overwhelming thing and if you don't use the right google terms many times what you want can be five pages into the results when normally the riddle maker intended for the result to show up on page ONE.

What makes a riddle GOOD is how it is designed, how the clues are done...you still have to use brain power to deduce what you need to use to obtain the answer. Googling for whatever decoder needed for me...is BORING and a PAIN IN THE BUTT work- not fun.

So don't go blaming Vamp and Slow or say they're the cause of why you shut down your riddle. Want to blame something else? blame Google. Google is what had made it easier IMHO.

The fun is searching out the clues and trying to figure out what you need.

FYI I did do your riddle. took me less than 4 hours to finish it. I barely had to break a sweat and didn't use google all that much because I already had the tools I needed. Think the only parts I had to google were perhaps anything to do with music/rockstars, literature or anything like that.

V & S are not taking over the WHOLE riddle solviing thing geez.

Quit complaining. You don't even know who will use PH. You also don't even know if the answers to your riddles have been posted elsehwere on the net. Trust me there are at least 2 whole forums dedicated to just that...FULL BLOOMING ANSWERS to many riddles.

Now THAT my freinds is destroying the fun of riddles, not a page filled with great riddle tools for BOTH riddlers AND riddle makers.
