I didn't have to search long for this:



A diving suit made of waterproofed leather, worn with a metal helmet. This was designed by a German, Klingert, and tested in the River Oder in 1797.

So we're diving now. How about some beautiful underwater scenery?

This somehow reminds me of the German legend of Lorelei, who is sitting beside the Rhine river, combing her golden hair, distracting the skippers...
