I think it's impossible for us to give up all sins. But I think it is worth it in the long run, and a benevolent god would not torture us always from doing basic things he gave us to live and enjoy life. Sin is basically doing wrong to other people anyway. So yes.

yes definitely...i have a question though, is a self stimulating sin like... sexual self stimulation? because i dont see how that hurts other people... what if you hurt someone but you are truly sorry for it?

I think if you hurt someone and you are truly sorry for it, that defeats the sin. And if you hurt yourself in anyway, or make yourself as less capable to help other people (I'm not just talking about sexual things :)) then that may be harming them indirectly.

I have broken my best friend's trust before because it broke my other best friend's trust from not telling her the secret. But there were other times as well where there weren't such good reasons. So, I can't say that I never will again, even though I wouldn't like to, since we all make mistakes.

Would you go on a game show as a contestant? Even if it mean humiliating yourself for some money?
