CATCHALL

Ok, this is a two-parter.

In July of 1981 the spaceship, Voyager 2, blasted off. It managed to capture the true beauty of . The pictures came back to the station and everyone was amazed. Later new pictures came back and they discovered it was really. Can you tell me what the pictures were of?

There seems to be a conflict of dates with my findings.... As far as the Voyager 2 goes, July brought about something but that was in 1979. 1981 saw August as being significant so now I'm all messed up!!!! :frown:

I will go double check, but I copied and pasted. Tell me what August brought and I will tell you if you were right.

Re: 80's TRIVIA CHALLENGE

Okay, in August photos were taken of Saturn's rings but although it's not clear what they really were, I will say that from everything I've read they were really new satellites and small Maxwell and Keeler gaps that they found floating around Saturn.

Looking beyond all of that I think I may have found what you're talking about.

It was Saturn's rings but they were actually images of Neptune. Yeah ou non?

Yeah, that happens a lot. I've come across a lot of conflicting info.... Oh well! C'est la vie! :)

Okay, onward and upward..............

Music (because that's the category I found it under :))

Cathy Smith is known for a lot of things but she is probably most famous for the demise of one particular celebrity. So much so she spent spent 18 months in prison, after being convicted for this person's death.
