Not the Future I found this riddle on reddit, it has a quite interesting atmosphere compared to the usual riddle and it has some reoccuring themes such as war and human primates
The creator made it because he thought that riddles like Notpron were too hard.

Granted! But you know, in prison, it's really best not to stick out, or have nice things. Another inmate whittles a shiv just for you. Luckily, he is incompetent, and you are merely badly wounded. Unluckily, you are prone to fester, and there is a whole gengrene episode that's just, well, disgusting.
You lose a leg, and are eventually put into solitary for your own protection because now you are not even able to put up the meager defense against the other inmates that you used to, hop-a-long that you are. Locked alone in a sunless room for 23 and half hours a day, you go slowly mad and the eventually find you, curled in a fetal position next to some rotting bread and stale water, on the day of your parole.
You are moved to a mental hospital, but the conditions there are much, MUCH worse.
I wish a had one of those back massager chair things.
