Re: Pictionary Is the woman Josephine Boneparte. Even if it is I'm still stuck:thinking: |
Re: Pictionary Mmmm. Started to think about "Les Miserables - I dreamed a dream". But then again, no Eastern connection there. Not baroque, not rococo, not French revolution, not classical, not Napoleonic, not Louis XVI , not New Age, not renaissance, not romanticism, definitely not art deco :cheesy: I looked at the list of triumphal arches, but not sure what to find there. I think I should just lay this aside and wait for that one spark of brilliance. See you in a year Neija ;)  |
Re: Pictionary Scouser, I wouldn't have a clue, don't think so, just an image I found online. Well it is neoclassical, you got that right, just a more specific term for the last half of it. (it is on the wiki page) Oh and it's the second one in Paris, nearby a VERY large Parisian building. Think I should have went for my other piccie :rotfl: |
Re: Pictionary :arms: Got it  I should have known :bonk: It's so obvious now! Empire Of The Sun - Walking On A Dream They have a wicked clip :cheer: I even watched it on MTV this morning  And yesterday :wall: Geez... It was wonderful Neija, thank you for your patience :) |
Re: Pictionary Yay!!!!! Finally! To explain my thoughts. So the woman is dressed in Empire style clothing, the dream was quite obvious and then the chinese flag at first did refer to the 'wicked' video like SF said. Changed it to Japanse flag cos of the movie "Empire of the sun" and cos Japan is more know as thz country where the sun rises. I did make a first draft but that got guessed straight away with test audiance so decided to make it harder. Perhaps a bit to much  But sure with this image people would have guessed within minutes. Spoiler: This song makes me get a smile on my face though Spoiler: |
Re: Pictionary Well, this one was very logic too Neija - I am sure I would get stuck on your first painting just as easily. Starting to think about Midday and tower and stuff :silly: Ok, here's my pictionary. Do I need to say it's a song? :) Spoiler: |
Re: Pictionary Hmmm, I was looking back on the calender to see what days they were in 2006 but your weeks only count 6 days instead of 7. But that might be on purpose. Other then that 16 and 6 are hightlighted in red. That just says to me, MY BIRTHDAY (sixteen of June, please note :rotfl:) I did find a song, Hawk Nelson - 36 days. It mentions 20 days on the road (days between the 16 and 6) Also 16 more to go. |
Re: Pictionary :winnerthuWell I would never have thought of that in a million years! Well done itS:cheer: Now I have to get my thinking cap on for yours. |
Re: Pictionary weeee good going its, yeah i would never have thought of that either i don't even know the song  and neija now i'm curious you have a testingaudience  no idea about yours its, but that isn't a weird thing  |
Re: Pictionary Wow... that is an awesome finding Neija, but it's not it :lol9: I doubt I would have been so clever to hint in this way for such a song ;) You were pretty close though  :) |
Re: Pictionary Hmm, while I am not as clever as neija, there is a song called 20 Days by Bombshell Rocks but I guess that's a bit too easy ;) |
Re: Pictionary Guess this might be it... Since I was close and mentioned 20 days. Seems I'm not THAT smart then  |
Re: Pictionary How about Six Days A Week by The Bronx? Can't find the lyrics to explain the dates in red, but that's also something Neija mentioned and the year, 6 and 26 point to "six" (maybe...:))? Note: April 16 2006 was Easter Sunday, and May 6 is of course International No Diet Day , so maybe SF just selected a few important days in those months? |
Re: Pictionary  It's not guessed yet, but HelanRen is teasingly close  |
Re: Pictionary I saw a song 6 days 7 night by Renaissance but don't think it will be that was well. I've been looking at songs now that mention Easter and 20 days but can't seem to find anything that fits. |
Re: Pictionary It is even easier than that Neija - there's just one clue and you already have cracked that (as did HelanRen). Now it's just to find the right song with that title and you're done Spoiler: |
Re: Pictionary Hmmm....so that would be the fact that there are only six days (in a week) Founds this. DJ Shadow - Six Days Has been used for the movie 2 Fast 2 Furious I believe, so that would fit the cars clue, but not the highlighted dates. |
Re: Pictionary :arms: Yeah :arms: That's the one  Or well, actually I ment the remix for the film, which is with Mos Def, but as there are no clues towards which of the 2 I do not think that is wrong. And the non-remixed version is cleaner ;) Spoiler: The movie is not 2F2F, but The fast and the furious: tokio drift - released in 2006. Looking back, that might also be a clue for the version: DJ Shadow's song is from 2002. And for the highlighted dates... they have a 6 in them :whistling. I did not want to highlight all dates with a six in them though, as I thought that would be too much of a give away: I guess I should have done so I had a better reason to say why they were highlighted :bonk: I just saw the calender and thought it did not look real enough as on normal calenders there are usually some holidays in a different colour. So I invented some :cheesy: Well, up to you Neija :cheer: |
Re: Pictionary Was the first lyric I read but assumed it wasn't good enough to match the 'other clues' But since you mentioned cars I thought back of that one. ok... Quickly made one up (I should make spare ones again!) A movie: think it will be very easy this time. Spoiler: |
Re: Pictionary Well done again neija. The fist bit looks like a Champions League Football > google images = Spoiler: So I'll have a go with: League of Extraordinary Gentlemen |
Re: Pictionary Told you it would be easy  It's indeed that movie. Over to you again :) |
Re: Pictionary Glad I recognised the Champions League, otherwise I'd have been off looking for Fred Astaire films of something :) This is another song - and I think it's easy ;) Spoiler: |
Re: Pictionary Poison - The Last Breath ? .........No you don't make them that easy do yer Jimbo ? |
Re: Pictionary Hmmm, I have one, I know it ain't right (cos of the lyrics) But Kill The Romance - Breath. A guy in front of the pc with a bad breath that would really kill the romance hahahaha |
Re: Pictionary That fits well Scouser! But it's not what I'm looking for. There are no intentional references to who the song is by. It's a easy one for me :P Ha neija, very true but how could you tell, do you have smell-o-vision on your PC? Not it. |
Re: Pictionary Don't think I would need one! Was refering to having a guy like that in your house. One that is always in front of his pc and has a smeely breath that could kill you  Anyway... could this Quote:
|
Re: Pictionary Oh Smeely Breath, that's even worse :P :rotfl: (sorry) Smell-o-vision is a new technology, it works with your webcam for a truly 'like they're right there in the room' experience! - You're both on the right lines............... |
Re: Pictionary There are hundreds of songs with the title Bad Breath, put me out of my misery and tell me thats not the answer..................... |
Re: Pictionary Quote:
|
Re: Pictionary :doubt: What about Poison In The Air - King Prawn. :doubt: Not sure it's your kind of music though :lol9: |
Re: Pictionary Nope, not that Pyjama Girl :P |
Re: Pictionary You're gonna push that name, aren't you? :silly: Ok, what about the obvious Alice Cooper - Poison. |
Re: Pictionary if that's obvious then i'm going with The Prodigy - Poison  and that's your new name PJgirl? :rotfl:me likey |
Re: Pictionary Quote:
|
Re: Pictionary yeah i know cause when i googled it the breathe and poison the lyrics came up together so i first thought it was the same song  |
Re: Pictionary Inspired by the green colour, I'll go with Nerve Gas by either (pick your choice :)) 3 Colours Red (British punk, sounds like Jimbo) or Kill Hannah (Chicago alternative rock, well, why not?)..... |
Re: Pictionary Okay first up... many have mentioned a correct word for the title. The 'feel' of the title hase been identified. Even an inadvertant reference to the band has been said. You might want to think about the guy............... |
Re: Pictionary Quote:
There is a group called N.E.R.D. but apparently they only made three albums and I cannot find a poison referfence. So how about Poison Whiskey by Lynyrd Skynyrd, from the album "(pronounced 'lĕh-'nérd 'skin-'nérd)"? Spoiler: |
Re: Pictionary Ah ha... not N.E.R.D.......... thesuasus time ;) (And thank you for the Lynyrd Skynyrd pronunciation for our younger viewers ) I honestly thought this was an easy one - it'll all be so clear I'm sure... one day :P |

Re: Pictionary OKAY, my bad... no defence over my crappy typing/spelling. I am duly spanked with my own gag (I knew it was dangerous :P) I had totally forgotten the title. But thanks to your hard work, I reckon all is in place... ish :P |
