Not the Future I found this riddle on reddit, it has a quite interesting atmosphere compared to the usual riddle and it has some reoccuring themes such as war and human primates
The creator made it because he thought that riddles like Notpron were too hard.

I thought I read somewhere that Yellow Road was another name for the Silk Road, so that could be Beijing and the Chinese emperors then. Can't find that anymore though....

The only thing I can say with certainty is that the man sitting is Eric Clapton.
Can't even tell what country it is he's sitting on, looks like Greenland (not by colour but by shape). A lot of water and Eric performed at the Tsunami Relief Cardiff on January 22nd 2005, but I don't see a clue to the redhaired man and the bay. Of course the ''bye bye daddy'' bit brings to mind the tragic loss of his son, but it looks a bit cruel to portray it in this way.
Edit: I see now that it's not Greenland, but the Far East, China, Birma, Vietnam, Cambodja, Thailand
