another clue for this - and i warn you it is obscure- piggy (nothing to do with this book, but it will help with the author)

Well unless the author's name is Kermit I'm stumped

Would never have found the author, so  Scouser and also to Vivi for the pict. I did Google ''Roger Mason'' earlier, but nothing came up, stupid Google :misbas:

I don't know the book itself, but from celli's wiki page I understand the link to Roger Mason. But what were the Chesterfield, Myst and Joss Stone-/-Stone clues referring to?

Spoiler:

i wish we had the ability to take nice coloured pics like that pelvis helanren- and your pic is a lot cleaner than mine ;)

the priest in the book is jocelin- hence joss stone- minus the stone and the female- her name is jocelyn- the myst blue book age is spire- and in the book the spire ends up twisted as is chesterfield's famous spire (although it is thought that salisbury is the actual location that is used- salisbury doen't have a twisted spire)
actually on the chesterfield page are pics of chesterfield spire as well as the sofa

and the spire is my favourite book of all time!!

I can answer the Joss Stone bit. Her full name is Joscelyn Eve Stoker, same as one of the characters in The Spire
Spoiler:
Jocelin, the dean of the cathedral, directs the construction of a towering spire funded by his aunt, Lady Alison, a former mistress of the King. The project is carried on against the advice of many, and in particular the warnings of the master builder, Roger Mason.

Oooops Vivi already answered, so take no notice of my blabbering :embarasse

Anyway, I have a new one ready, so here goes......a BOOK....
