Pretty straightforward, but not bad rbud. Learned something new (can we blame him for Bush, you think?) and at least the clip can be embedded !

The only song with salad that I can think of is Black Sabbath - Red Salad. The other clues do not fit to this so I guess I am missing something

I am not sure who the person in the first picture is. But if it is Neil Armstrong, I will go for this song: Stretch Armstrong - Angry Salad.

After looking at about 2.437.854 pictures of cartoon figures I finally found the name of the old girl, it's Little Orphan Annie and her dog Sandy. Now how can we fit that in with salad or lettuce.
