Sorry to say that I never heard of her before, it was the lacemaker-hint that set me off and then I compared pictures.
Give me a moment to make a pictionary, haven't got one prepared.

She's quite well known, but most of her work is in French movies. I searched for a picture where the freckles would be obvious, thought that would give it away ;); this one was actually from La dentellière

There's an old movie called "Out of the Clouds" (1955), and a newer one called "Beyond The Clouds" (1995) - anything useful in those titles? :confused3
