Re: Pictionary

What about the Van Deleckis - Red

And she walked right by me
with red on her hands

and
And like a spider, she's a black widow
Nothing can save me now
And when I saw her there
An angel standing before me

But it's probably a bit too far away - I mean, nothing in the title really indicates to the pictionary...

And the only poem about a spider which comes to mind will be
a noiseless patient spider by Walt Whitman - but I don't think that's a song...

Edit What about the Spider and the Fly - the Rolling Stones Angels fly, don't they? And it's a poem by Mary Howitt.

Re: Pictionary

That makes me think the angel-spider is a band reference... but it's not really helping me yet

Searching on though ;) :)

Re: Pictionary

:rotfl: Well, to be fair: I remembered it like "a silent patient spider" ;) I had to find out that it was "noiseless" by googling :silly:

You know, if that wasn't a knife I could go for
the Angels - ain't gonna eat out my heart anymore. But there's no spider in that, let alone a poem :lol9:

Re: Pictionary

A band that's ''out of this world'' could that be Nirvana?
But I can't find any lyrics with spiders in them and I'm not an expert on Nirvana I'm afraid.

Re: Pictionary

No celli its not Nirvana.......

I so wish I had your avatar somewhere on my computer - for I am sure something has changed put I can't quite put my finger on it :rotfl: :bonk:

For the pictionary: no clues on where to look anymore... any chance you can give another clue Scouser?
Spoiler:
For example the century this poet lived in?

Re: Pictionary

I got you as soon as you mentioned India, Scouser ;) And yes, I know - but I'm not getting very far with the ideas I've had untill now so I figured I should try it the other way around ;) I'm determined to get there :silly: :)

Though that poet has written many, many poems :lol9:
