As confused as you are Scouser

I have the feeling I should know this though, that clue looks awfully familiar

How about
a lamp? No idea about the numbers, but there is a play with light and shadow... I know, not the strongest argumentation ever

I was wondering about the fading/gradient of the colours as well... then of course, it might just be an IKEA Buktopäätöfesten dining table, and Jimbo simply misunderstood the assembly instructions

Jimborama is Jimborama, truesay.

It is the specific name/title of an item of furniture, like this is Arne Jacobsen's Ant Chair

Spoiler:

Sorry if I wasn't clear

The colour graduation and orientation fits in with the clue (but mainly so it looks slightly more interesting rather than simply a number).

Throw some ideas out, it could be Wednesday before my new proper connection is up, an' I hate to slow things down with just evening replies.

It could be Wednesday before I think of something to throw out!

I'm realizing just how little I know about furniture...

you and me both rbud, at least to little to recognize it based on numbers
but as you said throw it out jimbo and also cause i'm in love with this particular object
the ball chair by Aarnio Eero and that just because the numbers have a lot of round forms i'm willing to ignore the not so round numbers here

hmm you can change the numbers into the next number though the 3 you can make an 8 out of it, the 2 you can inverse (with a lot of imagination) to a 5 and well the 0 stays 0
sorry numbers tend to drive me crazy...i have absolutely no clue whatsoever

I went through a whole list of furniture designers in wiki, but very little of their work is named...

Couldn't find a lot with "382500" either, so just as a guess, and because the numbers are put one on top of the other, "Andover chair" by Davis Allen?????

pictionary-andoverchair.jpg

Actually, I do not think it is a chair, as that is the type of furniture Jimbo used as an example, but at least the designer chairs often have names !

neija is thinking this is still a great community!

I haven't a clue either, the only one I can think of is the designer that held an exibition while Jimbo and me visited Centre Pompidou in Paris.
Ron Arad, but can't link the clue(s) to any piece of him though.
