Re: Pictionary Ok, another clue then  This one is solely for the singer/band of this song: Spoiler: And remember, both Aventura and HelanRen have named the title already  |

I found one rider who takes his hat off at the start of the clip, taking the 'correct' pose: Spoiler: so for the moment I'll go with Buckcherry (whoever that may be ), and his song "Ridin'".... got to leave now, but I'll be back to see if I can make any other clues fit to that answer ! |
Re: Pictionary :arms: WeeeeeeeeeeeeeHeeeeeeeeeeeeee :arms: You're so right :) Buck Cherry, not Chuck Berry :lol9: And not knowing them ain't that strange, I can't recall ever having heard a song of them on the Dutch radio ;) I like most of their songs though  They're good for "playing loud" :arms:  I would like you to nail all the hints to the song though :) Now you know it, I don't think that would really be a problem  Ow, and for the pose: I was thinking Tom Waits myself (when I first saw the clip) ;) |
Re: Pictionary Hooray for you Hel (and not Hen and previously typed :bonk:) I was seaching for ride, riding, rides, ridden - along with home is where the hear is, coming out of a tunnel, lady with a gun, wall, build (well built woman, ha!)... Ahh, looking at the lyrics, I see 'stoned baby', 'clavin' and 'home'. I won't post a link cos I think it's a bit adult  |
Re: Pictionary Yeah, those were the words. "Stoned baby loves to go riding" (I always sing "stoned lady" :whistling That's why it's a woman and not a baby on the pictionary :bonk:) "Calvin in the back" "and go home" And for the adult content - I have the censored version on my mp3. Should have checked the contents of the song again for the references, I hope it didn't offend anybody. I'll be more careful next time  |

...reminded me of Charlie Chaplin ;)! Spoiler: Allright, off to the drawing boards....I'll try to make it slightly easier, promise :rotfl:! edit: And here we go, with another MOVIE Spoiler: |
Re: Pictionary Ok, going out on a wimp here, but it all seems to happen during one day: the lift off and the burning down (at night/evening). So I wanted to go for "Around the world in a day" - until I realised that is 80 days :rotfl: :bonk: As the drawing isn't really indicating a trip around the world, just a trip back home... Wasn't there a zeppeling in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade?. Hmm... don't think it's that obvious  And why the crown-symbol :doubt: Ok, some guesses, mostly to rule them out ;) Zeppelin (2005) As it's about the Hindenburgh CRASH and follows 3 generations (3 frames...) Zeppelin (1971) solely because it's about the Hindenburgh... Can't be that one, there has to be more to it than just the zeppelin  Ok, I'll just ponder on this for a while ;) Maybe I'll find the take off spot :) Edit HEY It's a Led Zeppelin album cover! Now that opens new doors :) Though of course, they used a picture of a real event (Hindenburgh) :dizzy: |

But the only connection with the album cover is that I used the same famous picture for inspiration ;). Spoiler: As you mentioned before, it's more than just the Hindenburg though. |
Re: Pictionary I think the crown symbol could be cos of the coronation of George VI in England, that was the destination the Hindenburgh should have flown to when the accident happened. an obvious movie would be The Hindenburgh |
