 Just as close as Jimbo ;) Though I was wondering while they were smiling when clearly they were about to splat...
Spoiler:
Though of course, they could get wings in the last second... and know how to use them :doubt:

Re: Pictionary

 Thanks tachan, now that was finally an easy one for me, been wanting to guess for quite a while now, but had no chance recently :) There were some great posts though

Jimbo's remark reminded me of the day I was nearly attacked by a frog, well not really, but I found a dead one in the cellar and that was not so pleasant an experience :silly:

Everyone knows I like easy pictionaries, mine is so simple to guess I won't give any help on it! Sorry about bad quality.

Re: Pictionary

Well, I started by Googling this:

jewish wizard whale book

and got this - what are the chances that it's the right one?

“The Circle’s Corner”

Not holding my breath! But hmmm....it has all 3 things I googled for!

Re: Pictionary

Nope, this is waaaay too far fetched.
Try googling something different and the title may come up!

Re: Pictionary

Weeeeeeeeeee, found it!

Israel Potter by Herman Melville

Not sure if the whale was a Moby Dick reference or something to do with Israel's adventures.

I believe you can download the book here :)

Re: Pictionary

Congrats Jimbo, on solving it so quickly! :arms:

I inserted a white whale as a reference to the most famous book by this author, nothing more, nothing less.
Israel Potter is actually one of the books I own but never got round to reading ;) so I wouldn't know if there's a whale as well.

It's all yours!

Re: Pictionary

And thank you Avent for doing a 'normal' one which I was able to get :hug3

I'm sure I saw a reference to him being on a whaler ta some time but you know how google results can chop up the results... anyway.

Here's mine. It's a film:

Re: Pictionary

You're very welcome, Jimbo, I prefer the normal ones myself

Now yours has me wondering "To bee or not to be", still trying to link it to the cruise ship, maybe Tom Cruise is one of the actors?

itSFMe 02-12-2009 10:19 AM

Re: Pictionary

Hmmm... that ship looks an awful lot like the Titanic - though maybe it's just the 4 chimneys :silly: The Lusitania also had 4...
Spoiler:
And as the Titanic was White star and the Lusitania Cunard... I'll go for the last. Though of course it can be another ship from their fleet around 1900...
I even considered the Queen Mary, but the chimney count didn't work ;) That would have been an interesting hint for Queen Bee though

No other ideas, though I think the characters in the film might be as puzzled as me when I see that man in your drawing ;)

Maybe it's a detective? The Murder on the Orient Express came to mind, but that's on a train so... Murder Ahoy!, though I would have expected a mouse instead of a bee and that ain't no battleship... :doubt:
