Re: Pictionary I vote for the "pie" direction, I don't think that's cake. Looks almost like graham cracker crust under it, like cheesecake (oh, no, why do they call it cake?) - but the top is colored like chocolate? Boston cream pie? But that has a layer of creme in the center... There's a song called "Bing Bang Boom" (bean ~ bing?) Still confused. |
Re: Pictionary How 'bout American Pie (Don McLean)? - Pie for the cake - Bean for the rye (I know, far fetched as can be ) - Explosion for the airplane crash... :doubt: Or just the whole "something bad happened" idea of the song |
Re: Pictionary In SF style, the clues are NOT for the title, they are specifically mentioned in the song, in that order :) |

Re: Pictionary Now you've confused me and it's my clue! hahaha [EDIT]: Ahhh, yes... very quick. |
Re: Pictionary :arms: I know the song :arms: :cheer: I can't believe I didn't see it before, but they sing this line so fast  I never quite made out the lyrics :whistling I ain't gonna post the answer though, for I'm not able to make a new pictionary untill next Thursday :depressed. I hope someone else finds the answer before that date :lol9: |
Re: Pictionary I know the song too  It was difficult cause I agree with itSFMe, it is sung pretty fast!! But it was a very good one Jimbo!!! And Helanren did a very good complementary clue  But I will be very busy all day and won´t be able to think of anything until tonight or maybe tomorrow morning. So if Hel wants to go with it or someone else´s gets it and wants to continue the game that will be fine :jossun: |
Re: Pictionary I still don't get it! :cry3: But I haven't heard of a lot of the ones in here lately. (And Google wasn't my friend for them, either.) :lol9: |
Re: Pictionary 1 Attachment(s) As opposed to the young ladies above, I didn't know the song, but after changing "cake" to "cheesecake", the Google helped me out :)! (and as you made that observation as well, I wonder why it let you down?) It's R.E.M., "It's the End of the World as We Know It (And I Feel Fine)" When I looked it up two days ago, the original video clip was still there, but these days everything gets removed from YouTube as soon as it's put up, so here's the live version Spoiler: This verse (at about 2:11) is part of the lyrics: The other night I dreamt of knives, continental drift divide. Mountains sit in a line Leonard Bernstein. Leonid Brezhnev. Lenny Bruce and Lester Bangs. Birthday party, cheesecake, jelly bean, boom! You symbiotic, patriotic, slam book neck, right? Right. Everybody seems to be shying away from posting the next one, so I'll do it after all.... It might be a bit difficult, Jimbo-wise.... Work of art Attachment 37412 |
Re: Pictionary Honest... I'm thinking. Beckoning a variety of operating systems, some of whom are on the other side of a T junctions... oh THAT famous work of art! Hmmm, I think my answer needs more work. btw, does Jimbo-wise now mean it's a cab arrét style clue? ie -people will groan! :P I'm already eager to know... ----------------- BTW... yes, Mr. Hel is right, as it seems, was everyone else except rbud Awww - Best thing to shout about that song> "Leonard Bernstein" It's an REM list song and a damn good one at that! |
