Re: Pictionary Well, I'm not familiar with "Gardens of the World", but don't you think a world entirely made up of flowerbeds is every gardener's dream? So Gardeners' World, a BBC programme that already runs for over 40 years, was indeed the right answer ;)! Your turn :jossun: |
Re: Pictionary Oh, goodie! Thanks to :google: Okay, here's one that I hope is not too easy as you're so good with this. I'm gonna follow your lead and also do a: TV SHOW Hint:Look Only If You Want To Spoiler: Spoiler: EDIT:Enlarged the pix |
Re: Pictionary I don't think it's "Night Court," really, but thought I'd throw it out as a guess. |
Re: Pictionary Does it have to do with religion? There's a cross and a girl in a burka; the defendants seem to be muslim as well? |
Re: Pictionary Sorry Rose, it's not Night Court. But as you obviously saw, it does have something to do with the justice system. Just take MOST of the details of the picture literally. Hels, nothing to do with religion at all. Ignore the girl. Good job on noticing the "Cross" coz I put it there as a clue. But what else about the cross?(Those 2 things are the 2nd part of the title or rather the subtitle) And the first part(main part) of the title has something to do with the mEn, what they're doing and what's being done to them. Hope that helps and that it wasn't too much hints. Edit:After a while, i'm now wondering if I finally put up a hard one? Do you guys need more hint? I'm surprised Hel's not gotten it yet. Hmmm... |
Re: Pictionary I had some extra hints from Dawn, which I'll share :): "here's the breakdown: main title: 3 words description:1st word)you noticed that there are more than one defendant. So you wouldn't say, "He" rather you'd say T***. 2)What are they doing? 3)What is being done to them? Subtitle or rather what that show is sometimes called= 2 words: cross+the other detail about the cross, but remember to use only one of the words. " and yes, I now know it's an oooold show.... "doesn't run anymore" is rather an understatement  |
Re: Pictionary So is there a guess in there anywhere, Helanren? I've googled myself silly on this one! :silly: |

Re: Pictionary Quote:
Edit:The above statement should be a great hint for the timeframe of when this show was on the air. Like a tv show more than 50 years ago! Hahahah! |
Re: Pictionary 1 Attachment(s) OK, here's my answer (didn't even consider they had regular TV programmes back then...): They Stand Accused (also known as Cross Question), "an early American television program broadcast on the now defunct DuMont Television Network. The series ran from 1949 to 1952 and during 1954." And as Dawn almost had to spell out the answer, that must be right , so I'll post the next one as well: Geography Attachment 34438 |
