Re: Pictionary I do read a lot, but I have never seen that one :)! The answer is not totally wrong though....but my book is much better known. If this helps: I could also have presented it as a more or less classic movie, a TV series, or even a movie 'in production' :) |
Re: Pictionary Journey to the Center of the Earth by Jules Verne?? Although I don't see how the arrow being green has anything to do with it, Wikipedia tells me it was adapted to both a television series and a film. |
Re: Pictionary Nope.. The direction of the arrow is more important than its colour, but since you can read green/red as yes/no, go/do-not-go, good/bad etc. , I thought green was more appropriate :). There is a clue in the 'map' part of the globe as well.... |
Re: Pictionary Is it "Out of Africa" by Isak Dinesen (the pseudonym of Danish Baroness Karen von Blixen-Finecke), first published in 1937? (I tend to doubt it, :doubt: because I'm not sure if changing the arrow color has anything to do with this one, either. Nor am I aware of a related TV series.) |
Re: Pictionary Ngggghh I've got a very strong feeling of knowing what it is, but I just can't seem to output the right key words in Google search! Something to do with the "Axis of Evil"? |
Re: Pictionary There's a book called "Swimming up the Tigris", but probably not very well-known, not even talking about a TV series .... Edit: it could be "Gilgamesh" by Stephen Mitchell ? |

Couldn't it just be "Out of Babylon" ? |
Re: Pictionary Quote:
It's not "Out of Babylon" though ;). |
Re: Pictionary "East of Eden"? "Into the West"? (grasping at straws, here!) :lol9: |
