Ok.. I hate adding all these rules, but... it's going to be necessary, I think.

Here is what I propose:
If you post or guess, you must check back in within 24 hours of your post. If we do not hear from you within 24 hours, we will move on. Even if you won.

If it is your picture that was posted, you may choose to PM the answer to someone else playing the game (i.e. Ariel). This PM MUST have Pictionary in the subject, as well as the date it was posted. In the BODY (and BODY only) should be the answer. This way someone else can hint or answer in your absense.

What do y'all think?

Seems fair enough, after all people who regularly play give notice of time away, just as K'Lyn has done above.
Having said that I think having a pic running for a while is good - otherwise we'll get to: post pic > guess > hint > correct > post pic > etc..... and people in other time zones won't get to play. eg. my last pic.
I get twitchy waiting for guesses in the same way you probably want a reply to your post (for example).

I think those rules sound very reasonable, Ariel. It just makes sense that there be a time limit since so many people are in different time zones. I think it makes it fair and gives everyone a chance to play. :) Besides, Jimbo is right, it's your thread. :winky:

Oh, and my guess for K'lyns is The Queen and the Soldier. Is that it? :thinking:

hey everybody just want to make a small apologetic post for being off for a while, i just want you all to know i am so sorry...it's just that for me it's kinda tricky with the time difference, and also i'm up to my neck in schoolwork and my internship and travelling back and forth between all this and my household and husband. Also I don't really have a chance to check my computer every morning since i already get up at 6 AM every morning just to make it to school or work in time...anyway i know this isn't an excuse but i still thought i'd explain. i ensure every one of you that i'll do my very best to take these things into account whenever i make a post in the future. thank you.

As for the potential new rule...

I've decided.

NO NEW RULE.

This thread was started to be a fun game and not a rule-bound project for anyone (least of all me!). I would rather continue on as we have been. I'll contact people as needed.

But I want this to be fun... and I'm afraid that too many rules will keep people from participating.

So... be patient with each other and with me. If I go AWOL - PM me. It'll email me in the outside world... and I'll come take care of the problems.
