I was going to say has it anything to do with Judge Dredd? Simon being the dreaded judge !
hey you vivi, and Norway does have talent? oh sorry I forgot about the Eurovision song contest !

celli 10-27-2009 12:46 AM

Re: Pictionary

Getting closer Scouser, keep thinking along that line.

Sorry, didn't see that Vivi also mentioned the dreaded judge. It's not that, but it's going the right direction.

But it doesn't help and you're drifting away.
I said before, it's important what they do, not their names.

Re: Pictionary

ok we are left with a fat man in texas with a remote- obvious eh??

celli 10-27-2009 01:57 AM

Re: Pictionary

I don't think it's Texas, I think it's Houston Street in New York, the yellow cabs are specific for NY.
Not that it helps :doubt: Isn't he one of the characters in the Simpsons?

vivi 10-27-2009 02:12 AM

Re: Pictionary

ok fat man in new york- that raises memories- but no film
on tv- thomas the tank engine?

rbud57 10-27-2009 05:07 AM

Re: Pictionary

Okay, I'll help out here, he's Peter Griffin, of Family Guy.

(hate to think what sort of guesses we'll make with that first name!) :rotfl:

Well your kinda right. It is New York, but not Houston street. It is 300 Lafayette street at the intersection of Houston street.

Again don't think it matters lol.

Is it December Bride

Scouser 10-27-2009 09:29 AM

Re: Pictionary

vivi:- Yes fat man with a remote.

celli:- Look at rbuds post as to who he is, (I thought everyone knew who Peter Griffin was! and if you don't you should, he's so funny)

rbud- Yep

vexhold:- No sorry thats not the one......

It doesnt matter where the location is, the picture I found of the particular contraption in the image just happened to be in New York ! and the reason I chose Peter Griffin is because of what he is in Family Guy !

Put the to two together and ?

celli 10-27-2009 12:49 PM

Re: Pictionary

The contraption is a banner or a scaffold  and he is a patriarch or father or family guy.
Getting nowhere with this.

Scouser 10-27-2009 01:25 PM

Re: Pictionary

There is a particular name for the contraption/banner/scaffold thing, and yes he is a father!

Its what the Americans call it !

He's a descendant of Moses Griffin, who led the Jews out of Egypt; Willy "Black-eyed" Griffin, a 1920s silent film star; Peter Hitler, the flamboyant brother of Adolf Hitler; and Nate Griffin, an African American slave, who was owned by Lois Griffin (née Pewterschmidt)s ancestors: plenty of choice for Cecil B. DeMille type Hollywood movies.....but I'll go with Funny Fat Guy

[edit] Hang on, I didn't notice that other comment, it's Billboard Dad :).

vivi 10-27-2009 01:35 PM

is it billboard dad!? never heard of it

Re: Pictionary

right all you lovely people - and celli:biggrin: (mocking my bones)

this is a song

celli 10-27-2009 02:31 PM

Re: Pictionary

Not being one of the ''lovely people'' I can do some more mocking :cheesy:....these pictures are soooooo tiny, what is that first one? Is someone jumping from that tower or is it a tightrope walker?
The second one is a groom waiting for his bride to be, who is late apparently and the 3rd someone looking over a farm village?
It would have killed you to make it a little bigger? :doubt:

I'm guessing Get me to the Church on Time.

less is more!!
yes a tower and someone jumping- yes to the groom waiting for the bride and that's a man looking at his village- all you need now is the song title-oh and yes he's deeply depressed as am i- a poor fragile creature that is in danger of being mocked to death- and what happened to monday's bee??

and for those with failing sight, i've resized the picture- time to fish out your lorgnette celli!
