Re: Pictionary So is Adam in then ? |
Re: Pictionary Yes, and there is a clue to that name, not just from the ant ;) |
Re: Pictionary So I'm guessing vivi and myself mentioning Adam was a pure fluke ? and Adam Ant has nothing to do with it ? |

Re: Pictionary What do you make of the hand? |
Re: Pictionary the hand is from the creation of adam- but with the ant i just get adamant |
Re: Pictionary Pointing finger could be the hand of god pointing at Adam !!!! as in Adam in the Garden of Eden ! there is a band Eden Ants, does that mean anything ? |
Re: Pictionary OK, so you two did in fact identify both the Adam and the Ant clues, Spoiler: |
Re: Pictionary Day I met God....Phew |

Re: Pictionary not too bad a tune celli, but she's a little too avant garde for me- nice pictionary though:super-coo |
Re: Pictionary A bit weird, but she's OK I guess :). People should be forbidden to write anymore "Venus" songs though, had to go through a lot to find it ! I had one laying around for a while, which seems to fit in with the "include a work of art" theme: Historic event Spoiler: |
Re: Pictionary Anything to do with The Carpathia rescuing Titanic passengers ? |
Re: Pictionary You've got an eye for historic pictures . I did use a 'Titanic' photo, but it doesn't have anything to do with it ;) |

Re: Pictionary I found the Roman figure at the helm, but it only says ''bronze male Roman'' so that doesn't help much. Of course Britain was invaded by the Romans by boat (would have been hard to swim across the Channel), but that was somewhere between 55 and 50 AD and I clearly see XIII on the bow. |
Re: Pictionary God bless your eyesight celli, I didn't spot that ! anything to do with Beric the Briton and the roman invasion ? |
Re: Pictionary Wow, I wonder how you found that sculpture. It's not the one I used (for one thing, it has a small addition to make it PG13 which mine hasn't; I wonder it that is because thebronzesculptures.com sells to modern day Americans, or if there was a version like this in ye olde times already...). It is very similar though, so it must be the same subject, who I assure you is more than just a male Roman (in fact, that site also calls it something else which if not totally correct is at least a closer description). The famous version we know today is made not of bronze but of marble, but it is an early copy of an even older bronze original. The event I am looking for is much more recent than the invasion of Britain. |
Re: Pictionary He's a Roman God. Anything to do with a boat rescue on Friday 13  |
Re: Pictionary The main thing happened on the 13th and the number 13 features prominently during the course of events, but it didn't happen on a friday. Fortunately, it also had a happy end (which, as it happens, did occur on a friday ) |

Re: Pictionary Haha, great article, I never knew that Apollo 13 was attacked by UFO's to prevent damage to their underground bases on the moon, which is really hollow (or, as the author prefers, 'hallow') :lol9:!. The statue was Apollo Belvedere, the event was indeed the flight of Apollo 13, launched at 13.13 hrs. on April 11, 1970 Spoiler: Your turn :jossun: |
Re: Pictionary wow- i'm almost pleased i missed that one- come on scouser give us a good one! |
