I quite enjoyed that previous one, though I spent a lot more time trying to figure out from which period exactly the map could be

I decided in the end that Hungary looked most like it was around 1100, though I'm still trying to find that little tail across Slovenia or Croatia ;)

Re: Pictionary

 artistically speaking of course... thanks for the pictionary celli, here's mine
songtitle and last name of the singer please

Sweet! And that pie looks tasty

Not too sure what the magazine stack might mean, but what about this song:
Bing Crosby - Pistol Packin' Mama. Ow hold on... I always mix those symbols up :bonk:

:rotfl:

Looks like the magazine rack is broken ! Is that a cherry pie ? or doesn't it matter what kind of pie it is?

angelstar 10-08-2009 07:07 PM

Re: Pictionary

Nope its not it, you're gonna have to be more specific about the pistol :)
and the rack is not broken, just me trying to make clear i only need the abbreviation of that word  and you already mentioned the full word Scouser

there are two clues for the last name of the singer
and the other two make up the title of the song

celli 10-08-2009 07:08 PM

Yep, but I can't tell what the red circle is ''circling''
The first thing that came to my mind was Guns and Roses, but .......hhhhhhmmmmm

Re: Pictionary

I already figured it is a revolver ;) going for the brand now :whistling

Edit BTW, I think MagPie might be in order ;)

celli 10-08-2009 07:14 PM

Re: Pictionary

The only brand of revolver I know is Smith and Wesson.

itSFMe 10-08-2009 07:15 PM

Re: Pictionary

I think it is a .44 Magnum Colt Anaconda revolver :pimp:

Not that I can bake any pie with that :dizzy: :lol9:

celli 10-08-2009 07:17 PM

Re: Pictionary

What is the red circle on the magazine???
If I need to read the title of the magazine I'm doomed, cause I can't :dizzy:

angelstar 10-08-2009 07:17 PM

Re: Pictionary

Yep its, Magpie is already correct , now you just need to find the manufacturer of that pistol and you're as good as in :) and it's not Smith and Wesson celli, but i'm sure you've heard the name before

 its you're fast it probably is that one... just need the name of the manufacturer and put it together with the other symbol and you've got your solution

and celli i know it's not really visible it's cause i wanted to show it was an abbreviation of the word magazine so i put 3 dots there and with the red circle to clarify it's only that part i'm after

I know i know, they looked bigger before i transferred it to photobucket

I think the song is called Cold Woman by a singer with Magpie as a last name, but I can't find any song like that. Actually, I can't find anything with MagPie in it which could explain the Colt  So if anybody has an idea - feel free to post it!

The MagPie does remind me of Tom Waits song Whistlin' Past The Graveyard... :lah:

angelstar 10-08-2009 07:35 PM

Re: Pictionary

its maybe you shouldn't take magpie for a last name...or first name for that matter ;)
and that's not the symbol for woman!
Colt is correct :) you're really almost there, just need to place the pieces together :)

itSFMe 10-08-2009 08:01 PM

Re: Pictionary

:banghead: :lol9: I can't believe I fell for it again :rotfl: I really get mixed up with those symbols. Luckely they're not generally used as toilet symbols! *phew*

Here we go: Hugh Coltman - Magpie :)

angelstar 10-08-2009 08:27 PM

Re: Pictionary

 haha that would be quite something, though i must admit if the line is too long at the ladies, i get my symbols mixed up as well :p

and well done, that was the one! Over to you :)

Didn't you ever hear the mnemonic for that :cheesy:?

Mars/male : shield and spear
Venus/female: handmirror

angelstar 10-08-2009 08:29 PM

hahaha awesome Hel, never heard that one before

Thanks for the association-tric HelanRen - I'll try to remeber it ;) And after all, what's wrong with a girl in the mensroom - a honest mistake? Wouldn't be the first time :bonk:

Ok, here we go with a song. As I know the answer it is pretty clear to me, but it might be a bit hard to find the right clues :) Good luck with that

And it looks like he is an Anglophile too ;).

Though angelstar probably has given the correct answer again already, I'm going to offer an alternative:

5th Commandment by Protest The Hero

angelstar 10-09-2009 12:58 AM

Re: Pictionary

oh come on again, if it would be the right answer,(cause there's nothing about parents in the lyrics) it would only be my 3rd correct answer, then you'll probably have to wait a whole year again before i'll get another one right, and i think i lost track of how many answers you got so far

Funnily enough, there's is nothing about parents in the song I mentioned either ! I picked the song before I read the lyrics but after reading them I wondered about that (I also decided not to post the YouTube clip..;)). With a bit of research though, I concluded that PTH goes by the the Catholic numbering, whereas I used the protestant one :cheesy:.

It's Nadal and Ferrero playing at Queen's, but I cannot find a song by Queen that fits (maybe Bijou?). There is a song from the musical City Of Angels called The Tennis Song ("It's not exciting unless - The competition is stiff") but that doesn't seem to match the rest either...
