Re: Pictionary Thanks celli....... This is a movie, and I think its easy, but we will see.... Spoiler: |
Re: Pictionary Well that looks like a breakfast to me, so I'll go for Breakfast at Tiffany's or The Breakfast Club. More likely the latter, because that would explain the football. |
Re: Pictionary No none of them celli, but your on the right track:nod: |
Re: Pictionary |
Re: Pictionary Yes :arms: thats the one, over to you celli...... |
Re: Pictionary Thank you Scouser, I didn't expect to be right so quickly, so give me a sec please. OK, I'm done...here is a MOVIE again... Spoiler: |
Re: Pictionary |
Re: Pictionary But of course.:cheesy: You're up mr. Hel. |
Re: Pictionary Thought that would have been too obvious....but sometimes you can trust the first thing you find ! Next: made by the technique of cutting/pasting/combining several photo's to make up one image (:)), this pictionary could go into many categories, but is best known I'd say as a book Spoiler: |
Re: Pictionary I (think I) recognize Scarlett o'Hara in Gone with the Wind. Don't know about the bloke with the ......oh hold on......mmmmmm, have to Google. Is it The Scarlet Pimpernel? |
Re: Pictionary That took less time to find than to make http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o...ilies/clap.gif. It was indeed Scarlett O'Hara, together with Horatio Nelson ("Our Nel") who has a pimple on his face and a scarlet pimpernel on his hat ;). I always loved the little rhyme: We seek him here, we seek him there, Those Frenchies seek him everywhere. Is he in heaven?—Is he in hell? That demmed, elusive Pimpernel. If you've never read the book, you can now find it (even download it!) online as part of the Project Gutenberg ;) |
Re: Pictionary Nice find celli:arms: and good pictionary Helman. |
Re: Pictionary Quote:
I would never have found that it was Nelson and for the Pimpernel part...always thought that was a little bird. Oh no wait, that's a ''pimpelmees'' :cheesy: I haven't one ready so please wait a bit. Oh well, you are :sleeping_ anyway. Sorry to have kept you waiting, had to work. Here it comes...it's a SONG... Spoiler: |
Re: Pictionary Well thats a Rembrandt.... so came up with this Rembrandt lyrics, Lyrics of Rembrandt, Rembrandt song. - Lyrics.SmasHits.com or Like a Rembrandt lyrics, Lyrics of Like a Rembrandt, Like a Rembrandt song. - Lyrics.SmasHits.com but I can't find a singer for either. wait found someone called Spogga !!! Spoiler: |
Re: Pictionary It IS a Rembrandt, but that's not important. drip, drip, drip......:cheesy:....don't pay any attention to me....I'm still soaking.(this has nothing to do with the pictionary, just a little joke between Scouser and me) |
Re: Pictionary Rembrandts - I'll Be There For You, no can't be you said rembrandts not important...... Mr Operator-Pussycat Dolls |
Re: Pictionary No sorry, none of the above. Look at the picture closely (I know it's a bit gross), you'll see it's not an operation they are performing. What is the picture called? |
Re: Pictionary The Anatomy Lesson of Dr Tulp:thinking: hang on is it Anarbor - Anatomy |
Re: Pictionary You've got the name of the picture right, but not the name of the song. Don't use the exact same words, look more into the action and it's purpose. |
Re: Pictionary Here is a better version..... Spoiler: |
Re: Pictionary 1 Attachment(s) It's The Anatomy Lesson of Dr. Nicolaes Tulp. Rembrandt got the inspiration for this picture as a child, when he was an avid reader of Asterix Spoiler: Spoiler: The painting in its turn inspired many bands to write songs called either "Postmortem" or "Autopsy"; one band even called itself Autopsy. However, none of those bands really jump out, and the band Autopsy wrote a song called 'An Act Of The Unspeakable" while the rest of their song titles are unspeakable as well and cannot be mentioned here on Nord. So, no guesses at the moment :doubt: |
Re: Pictionary What do they teach you in anatomy lessons? Oh and great find about that Asterix picture. I've seen it so many times before and never made the connection  I like yours as well Scouser :rotfl: |
Re: Pictionary But after all that we are still non the wiser:thinking: |
Re: Pictionary Again I ask, what do they teach you (about) in anatomy lessons? |
Re: Pictionary How the human body works !!! I thought you were asking The Helman that question ! |
Re: Pictionary Quote:
Yes, how the human body works, because the human body exists of muscles and...... |
Re: Pictionary bones !!! The Killers-Bones or pink Floyd- In The Flesh ? Or Black Crowes - Flesh ? or even Flesh-N-Bone Amen |
Re: Pictionary Bones is right :arms:........but not those songs :frown: Go on, go look further, you'll find it. The whole song is about the anatomy  |
Re: Pictionary I'm off for dinner now, will be back later... maybe someone will have guessed, oh by the way its not the kids song Dry Bones is it? |
Re: Pictionary I didn't know it as a kids song but as this Dry Bones, and now I see that it was origionally made for kids, well anyway you won :arms: You're up. Spoiler: |

Re: Pictionary Woopsie, didn't see that one coming this is the title of an album/cd but the same songtitleis on that album as well...there's no reference to the band in this one, but i think it's pretty straightforward Spoiler: |
Re: Pictionary It's a historical map of Europe, that's why the borders look so funny. Spoiler: So the green painted country is Hungary. Hungary and a saw..... Found a The Hungry Saw by Tindersticks. |
Re: Pictionary Yep right on the money  and well the historical map, i didn't want to make it to easy :rotfl: (kidding, never even noticed it) over to you celli :) |

Re: Pictionary Hmmm is that Madonna? Cause then i'd go for Madonna of the rocks (as called by Dan Brown) but which really is Virgin of the rocks by Leonardo Da Vinci? |
