Whoa, love that hairdo! Thankfully I grew up after those kind were "in"!

I just remembered I had seen the song when searching for "look out look out look out"; found this page but never made the connection until your previous post....

Have to make up a new one, so I'll be back later :)!

She's done quite a few of those stickmen musicvideos :).

Here's a new song again, don't know if it will be hard or not (clues are a bit indirect, but then, you are used to that by now right :lol9:?):

I see Chinese food and a baseball player doing Chinese circus stuff.
Spoiler:

There was a baseball player once called Frank George (Noodles) Hahn, but that is the only connection I get so far.
Back to my thinking boot
Edit:
And now I have found ''Keeping Score'' by Hannah.

rbud57 09-13-2009 06:08 PM

Re: Pictionary

There's a tradition called the seventh-inning stretch, which I believe is done in the middle of the seventh inning of a baseball game. It appears from the scoreboard to be time for this - when everyone in the stands gets up and stretches after sitting for so long (traditionally they sing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" at this time, too). I admit I haven't Googled (much) for any songs to do with this, however.

Just an observation.

And the score is in a tie, 3 to 3, which made me detour toward thinking about Thai food...? But other than that and the fact that I don't find this position in any of the basic yoga poses (thought the name of the position might be a clue...) I haven't come up with much.
:doubt:

In Yoga this position is called the Scorpion....

Re: Pictionary

:rotfl: Looks like there is a lot more in that picture than I put into it....:rotfl:

- the exact gymnastic/yoga position is not important (though I wish I had thought of that, will have to remember it for the future :)!), it was just the act I wanted to show
- tie/Thai is another good clue I could have though of, but didn't.... 3-3 was just something I could make up with only the three numbers 1,2 and 3, so I didn't have to copy/paste any other small lines to build more numbers ;)
- there is no specific clue for any particular band/singer
- rbud has given useful information to baseballically challenged players
- celli identified the only other clue in her first post
- but that needs a bit more detail
- then it will give you the first part of the title, the rest of the title is not indicated (I thought that if you came that far, it would be obvious...;))
- though, apparently, that clue wasn't even really needed at all....

Bloody hell you're not gonna make it any easier are you? :confused3
I wrote so many things in my first post.
Still, I think it has something to do with Chinese Food, technically it is Chinese take away. But ''a bit more detail'', you want me to give you the whole menu of the "Grote Chinese Muur" (the Great Chinese Wall) ? I'll have numbers 12, 36 and 84 please (with some extra kroepoek and sambal bij)

- Baseball is (more or less) an American sport....
- not the whole menu thank you very much, but what's the only thing served here (and just to be fair, this part might be a bit more obscure to Americans...:))

Just wondering, by this did you mean it's a new clue for a song, or actually a new song? Because I've been looking at more recently released songs, and I thought it might be good to clarify. ;)

And hey, are we talking about Ramen noodles here? Just wondering.

I'm getting nowhere here. Anglicize that......hell I even looked up a menu from a Chinese Restaurant in Manchester on the internet but they call it NOODLES, or vermicelli (which is kinda sweet I think personally).

No, that was meant as 'new clue'. The song is actually over a 100 years old, but I know for a fact that you know it...;)

No, no specific type, just a different word for it

As long as they don't eat you alive, right?

OK, focus on the 'take away' thing first, it should become clear after that.

Always glad to inspire people to undergo new experiences ;)!

Big hint

the song is 101 years old

Re: Pictionary

Well, I see "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" does fall in that year...but I already said that, and it doesn't seem to fit with the guy's odd position - unless it's just a stretch?

It's got to be something with "take me away'' I think, me sounding like mie which is what you mean probably, I think, maybe....or not.......:1zhelp:

OK, I'll give it to you then ;)!

You did mention it before, but not really as an answer ("traditionally they sing "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" at this time, too. I admit I haven't Googled (much) for any songs to do with this, however."), so I let it go on a bit, but I guess we have come as far as we will go.

The baseball player is indeed just doing a stretch (be it a bit elaborate one ), halfway through the 7th innings.
What he is looking at is a takeout
Spoiler:
(I remember how I got strange looks when I asked for food "to take away" in the States)
of mee.
Spoiler:
Maybe not the most common word used by English speakers for Asian noodles, but I figured that the Dutch would come in to help out there, since (as celli did indeed mention in the end) over here 'mie', pronounced 'mee', is the common name for it ;)

Your turn again :jossun:!

P.S. Unfortunately almost invisible after reducing the image to fit the page, but did you notice the brand name on the takeout box? It spells "he lan ren" :)

The first thing that came to mind was "Gypsies, Tramps and Thieves'' by Cher The odd thing out is the motorbike however, so I assume it's not right.

Re: Pictionary

I'm tempted to guess Douce Dame Jolie by Gypsy Caravan, from their CD Live from Berbati's and Key Largo, except for thte facts that

a) I can't really place the motorcycle and
b) the image is simply called gypsycaravan.jpg, not "yesthisimagehasanamesohelanrencanfindth eanswerquicklywithouttheneedforlongresea rchthenameisinfactgypsycaravan.jpg"

Scouser 09-15-2009 02:46 PM

Re: Pictionary

 No Helanren not the one, and I forgot to change the image title so its just as well that "Gypsy Caravan" is not in the answer......

That's a neat one Scouser!

I go for
Bruce Springsteen - Gypsy Biker.

:Sing: To the dead, well it don't matter much 'bout who's wrong or right
You asked me that question, I didn't get it right
You slipped into your darkness, now all that remains
Is my love for you brother, life's still unchanged
To him that threw you away, you ain't nothing but gone :Sing:
