Re: Pictionary Could it be "Paying the Price of Love"-The Bee Gees ? |
Re: Pictionary Wooooooot, :arms: we have a winner!!! Once more the incredible Scouser cracked the code  You're up. |
Re: Pictionary Thanks celli:lol: Took me a while though !........ This is a song.... Spoiler: |
Re: Pictionary Sleep all Summer by St, Vincent and The National? :doubt: |
Re: Pictionary Could of course be A Lonely October Night by Nattvindens Grat, or One October Song by Nico Stai Spoiler: but both singers/bands are such unknowns I wouldn't put my money on it. Still, lots of unknowns have turned up here...:lol9:! |
Re: Pictionary Nope, neither of those celli and Helanren, I've added another image to see if it helps. Spoiler: The time on the alarm clock means nothing, if anything it should say 1 minute after midnight !!!!!! |
Re: Pictionary I'm getting nowhere with this Scouser. Found a band called ''First October" and a movie ''First Monday in October'' with Walter Matthau, but that's about it. |
Re: Pictionary It is a bit obscure ! so I'm adding something to it AGAIN !!!!! This will give you a clue to the band..... Think about the alarm ringing.... http://img220.imageshack.us/img220/6302/1111yvs.jpg |
Re: Pictionary Ooooh I've got it.....Wake Me Up When September Ends from Green Day |
Re: Pictionary :arms: thats the one, over to yooo hooo:biggrin: |
Re: Pictionary 1 Attachment(s) Thanks hon, and thanks for that last hint, wouldn't have found it without that. Here is another MOVIE Spoiler: |
Re: Pictionary I think I know it, but I will hold off for a while to give the others a chance...... |
Re: Pictionary I bet you know the right answer Scouser, you are really good at this. Also it is pretty straight forward, but still.... |
Re: Pictionary Ok, let me try then... it doesn't look that easy to me :rotfl: I can't even get the sequence  :bonk: :wall: 3,5,7 and 11,13,15,17 and... no clue what comes next... it looks like the people in the pictionary are newly weds though so lets go with that. *blank* Erm... ok, so lets not go with that  |
Re: Pictionary There is a sequence in the numbers, maybe I should have started with 1, but that is not necessary, also I see I forgot 9, but that is not really important either. And yes I believe they were just married when this picture was taken, can't you tell who they are? Think jumping up and down on a couch  |
Re: Pictionary I'll try that , hold on... :dustycouc Edit Ok, first thought was the Odd Couple, but apparently that's only a TV Series... ow hold on, here we go: 1968. But that can't be it... Why pick Cruise and Holmes for such? So then after some more jumping I figured it might be a movie about an odd cruise (those are the Cruises)... :doubt: the Love Boat?!? I have a gut feeling I'm thinking a bit too jibberish now :rotfl: |
Re: Pictionary You are thinking way to deep, the Odd Couple (starring Jack Lemon and Walter Matthau) is right. Don't read much tabloids do you  ? Because then you should know that most people think Katie and Tom are an ''odd couple''. Anyway the numbers are - of course - odd numbers. Well done Its :arms: and over to you. |
Re: Pictionary :arms: WeeeeeeeeeHeeeeeeeeeeee :arms: Thanks for your help Celli... back to the drawing board it is  |
Re: Pictionary I think celli picked them because thay ARE an Odd couple  oops celli already explained..... Well done itS:arms: |
Re: Pictionary Hey, look at that, SF is back! Had a nice holiday? After first concluding that the important part of the sequence was the missing 9 and focussing on that, I see that's no longer necessary :). So, 'odd' seems to do well, and The Odd Couple seems a logical choice. But, if it is a Cruise/Holmes wedding picture, how about "The Odd Kid(man) Out"? Quote:

Re: Pictionary BTW Nice Pictionary celli....... |
Re: Pictionary It was great HelanRen, I really like the Friese Meren ;) You know, I've also visited Amsterdam - for the Alice in Chains concert. It was amazing! :guitar1: But before the concert I did some museums: Rijksmuseum, Foam, Van Gogh museum, Tropenmuseum, Huis Marseille. All in under 5 hours :whistling :wall: Long live the museumjaarkaart :rotfl: And great find - I see you're up with the tabloids  Ok, here we go: a very recent SONG Spoiler: |
Re: Pictionary Quote:

Re: Pictionary Quote:
|
Re: Pictionary Is it Running in the City by Space? I see now that is from 1978, hardly to be called ''recent'' |
Re: Pictionary Nope (this is not that recent a song), but you're very close! |
Re: Pictionary "Running, White Face, City Boy" although thats not recent either:thinking: |
Re: Pictionary Quote:
Exit to the City by something called 'the D4'?? Or the same song by something called 'Bad 4 Good'?? |
Re: Pictionary Quote:
And  None of the above. Celli's guess is still the closest to the real thing. Spoiler: |
Re: Pictionary Running Around Town ? |
Re: Pictionary Getting closer, but play a bit with the verb-form and the preposition (I never thought I'd use those words again after I finished English classes :rotfl:) |
Re: Pictionary How about..... Jay-Z - Run This Town |
Re: Pictionary :arms: That's it :) Though, to be more precise: Jay-Z ft. Rihanna ft. Kanye West - Run this Town Your turn  |
Re: Pictionary I only got it because of your hint , will be back soon....... This shouldn't be too difficult, its a song..... Spoiler: |
Re: Pictionary |
Re: Pictionary Nope, but your pretty darn close:nod: |
Re: Pictionary Armed Love by The (International) Noise Conspiracy? |
Re: Pictionary No not the one celli:no: |
Re: Pictionary Love & Bullets, Lewis Parker? |
Re: Pictionary No, good guesses but Helanren was closer ! |
Re: Pictionary Your love is safe with me, Don Johnson (believe it or not)? :doubt: Hang on.....how about Bulletproof Cupid by Placebo? |
