vivi 08-01-2009 05:20 PM

Re: Pictionary

now come along girls and take this seriously!! i put a lot of work into this and i want it to receive the respect it deserves!
buddy presley and elvis holly:banghead:
as another clue- i could have posted lots more pictures! a bit like raindrops on roses and whiskers on kittens - they don't write lyrics like that anymore (thank goodness!)

celli 08-01-2009 05:25 PM

Re: Pictionary

A Few of my Favorite Things by the unforgettable Julie Andrews.

vivi 08-01-2009 05:32 PM

Re: Pictionary

no- the list is a bit like- raindrops and brown paper packages filled with warm woollen mittens, but nothing to do with the eternal miss andrews (and she is no relation to elvis holly or buddy presley either)

what i mean is that the things in the list define the title of the song--is that clear??

celli 08-01-2009 05:37 PM

Re: Pictionary

Eeeeeeeeerrrrrrrmmmmmm.........no

vivi 08-01-2009 06:27 PM

Re: Pictionary

Thank you ;). For a change, an old fashioned hand-drawn (well, mouse-drawn)

song

Re: Pictionary

"Mobile Blue - Mickey Newbury" is the first thing that jumped out at me, but I don't think its that....Now if we could just figure out the symbols...

Helanren 08-02-2009 01:19 PM

Re: Pictionary

Close :)! I don't think you will be able to figure out the symbols though, unless you are an Egyptologist of some skill....but if you figure out the title with the other clues (there is one important one you missed), you should be able to use them as confirmation of what you found ;)

Yes it could :winnerthu! The song can be found (by an amazing coincidence ) just before Leopard-Skin Pill-Box Hat, on Side Two of the 1966 Dylan album Blonde on Blonde :lol9:

The blue hieroglyphs on the hangers of the mobile spell out Memphis ;).

Your turn again :jossun:
